At First Lutheran we believe that everything we have is a gift from God, none of it our own. Giving, therefore, is a spiritual practice which releases us from what we cling to and frees us for ministry in God’s kingdom. If you would like to make an offering through First Lutheran Church, there are a variety of ways to do so:
You can make a one-time or recurring donation through PayPal,
or using the Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement app. Download the app on your smartphone and you can give by EFT, right from your bank account, or by Credit/Debit Card. You can set up a single or recurring donation to the General Fund or to another category. Notify the Financial Secretary if you don’t see a category you’d like to use.
If you’re more comfortable on paper, you can set up recurring giving with VANCO (Simply Giving), a service originally suggested by the ELCA. Email the church office for a copy of the form and mail it to us at 62 Church St, Malden, MA, 02148. You can also mail checks directly to the office at the same address.
