September is almost here, and with it comes a lot of transitions: from summer to fall, vacation to school and work, warm weather to cool- and for many of us, a return to our regular church schedule. Join us at First Lutheran Church in Malden on September 10th for a “Welcome Back” Sunday! We’ll have coffee and treats, and offer a blessing of the backpacks to all who’d like to participate. Bring a backpack for school or work, purses, fanny packs, laptop cases, briefcases, diaper bags – any bag you carry with you as you come and go from home. We’ll bless and “tag” them, enjoy some treats, catch up after summers away, and share more about our upcoming activities in this new season.
