At worship this past Sunday, we gathered in community to eat breakfast, share our struggles and joys, commune, and worship together. Our experimental ‘breakfast church’ saw us convene around God’s table of grace, and also around buffet tables of sustenance ; tables that nourish us both physically and spiritually.
Breaking bread and eating together, alongside Bible-reading and preaching, nurtures a more meaningful sense of community. We deepen our faith as we share our lives, and seek to know and love God, as well as each other.
