Camp Uke 2018 finished with a concert on July 28th. It was a great success! 16 campers joined us to learn how to play the ukulele, sing songs, play games, make art, and enjoy delicious snacks and lunches. If you’d like to see more about this summer’s program, read our blog post here.
However, that doesn’t mean the fun is over! Camp Uke continues in the fall with “Beginners Part II,” a class for kids in grades 3-6 who would like to continue their ukulele skills, start fresh, or advanced students who want a place to play along with others.
When:
Every other Wednesday beginning September 5th
6:00-7:00pm.
Final Concert date TBA.
Where:
“Beginners Part II” will be held at First Lutheran Church in Malden (located on the corner of Church and Waite Streets, a half mile from Linden School)
Details:
Camp Counselors will include public school teachers, other players and members of the community and have been received background checks called CORI.
